Kenya!
In May 2007 Purpose International Ministries took a step closer to fulfilling it’s plan of having nationals on every continent teaching their kinsmen the principles of Godly purpose, destiny and achievement. Having been deeply impacted by Dr. Greenman’s original book, How To Find Your Purpose In Life, Pastor Michael Masambu invited Dr. Greenman to teach his Purpose Destiny Achievement seminar in Uganda, Africa in April. During that trip the Lord knit their hearts together with the vision to fill Africa with the PDA message. Pastor Masambu requested to partner with us and soon after opened our first international office in Kimilili Kenya!
Since opening our office in Kenya Pastor Masambu has presented our Purpose Seminar in churches, schools and business settings to over 25,000 people. He has given out over 2,500 books and workbooks and is in desperate need of more. He has offers from churches across Kenya and several surrounding nations to teach them the PDA principles. He has also been invited to teach PDA to multiple arms of the Kenya military and several hospital staffs. Pastor Masambu has truly reached almost every sphere of influence with our message.
The explosive growth of interest in PIM and the PDA message in Kenya has forced Michael to multiply himself by training others to teach the seminars. By October of 2007 Pastor Masambu has trained 19 leaders from his church to teach our PDA seminars. They have divided their nation into regions and each trainer is responsible for reaching their respective regions.
Obviously rural Kenya where Pastor Masambu lives is a financially needy area. Michael and his staff will need much help from our offices here in the USA and in fact we presently fund the rent and salaries of the part time help. They have immediate needs of computers, a good car for transportation to seminar sites and travel expenses.
