Prayer Team

Why We Pray

Prayer is the foundation of any good endeavor for the Kingdom of God and we want to be sure to strengthen our foundation every chance we get. We believe we have the right and the duty to invoke the full power of the covenant in the blood of Jesus Christ our Lord upon all we are assigned to accomplish. We know we need the help of as many fellow believers as we can possible enlist.

How We Pray

All of our prayer team members will have clear instructions on what we wish to pray for. The foundation of all intercession for PIM and its work and personnel will be the Word of God. We pray His Word with authority and faith in Him. We boldly proclaim the reality of His Word and Kingdom. We know that when we pray according to His will — which is His written Word and His personal Word to us – we know He hears us and that we have what we have asked of Him (1 John 5:14,15)

What We Pray

If you have an interest in praying for the commission given us by the Lord to take this message of Purpose Destiny and Achievement to the world using all media for all ages on all continents, here’s how you can do so. The Lord has instructed us to create three areas of prayer for constant intercession. You are invited to share in as many of these areas as you wish.

    •   The Sword: This area of prayer is devoted to spiritual warfare. This is where we intercede to take new ground, to win souls, and see the miraculous. We believe that as it is written we have authority over all the power of the enemy and that nothing shall harm us (Luke 10:19), that we can cast out demons in the name of Jesus (Mark 16:17) and that when we resist the devil and his company they run from us in terror (James 4:7). By using the Word of God as the Sword of the Spirit this group of intercessors helps us open up new territory by dislodging our enemy as the Lord directs us. However, do not go looking for fights with principalities, but we also do not tolerate any demonic squatters on the places, events, and commissions the Lord instructs us to undertake. We call upon the Host of Heaven – God’s Holy Angels – to do battle with the demonic enemies we may encounter. Angels are here to minister to and for us (Hebrews 1:14). Our job is to speak the Word of God so they can “mightily in their supernatural strength” perform those words. (Psalm 103:20) Our warfare is only based upon clear words of direction from the Lord.
    •   The Shield: Because we are in a war with an enemy who wishes us harm we know that the need for protection in the spirit is great. We have and will continue to go into areas of the world where darkness has strongholds. But we will not fear, for when we have a clear word from God we know our enemy will bow before the name of Jesus on our lips and our angels will see to it all. Those who wish to be part of this group will concentrate on proclaiming the scriptures concerning God’s protection and favor for His own. Prayer will be focused on our staff and all the items that make up our outreaches with product, events, and international offices.
    •   The Provision: It takes people, materials, and finances to accomplish all the Lord has instructed us to do. We believe that “Jesus became poor that we might be rich,” so that we might “have an abundance for every good deed” (1 Corinthians 8:9 & 9:8). We know that provision is not bound to economies or bank accounts, but only to “God’s riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). We are not trying to talk God into blessing us, but instead we are thanking Him for what He has already promised and drawing it into our natural possession by faith in Him through the power of His Holy Spirit. This area of prayer is focused on proclaiming and calling in all the provision needed to do our job with excellence
