Bill Greenman graduated from Florida State University in 1976 and entered into the professional circus world with his wife Meg. After a disappointing initial season and a disastrous auto accident, the Greenman’s ended their short professional circus careers to seek the Lord’s will for their lives. One year later they combined their professional circus skills with an all-consuming desire to win souls for Christ and began Circus Alleluia Ministries(CAM).
Over the ensuing 10 years Bill directed CAM’s many outreaches, training over 60 volunteers in circus and ministry. This included taking the circus into prisons, juvenile centers, public and private schools, colleges and university campuses, civic auditoriums, and Christian festivals across the eastern half of the US and Canada. Circus Alleluia was also featured on the CBN 700 Club and the PTL club, along with many local and regional interviews on TV, radio, newspapers, and magazines. That decade of ministry saw tens of thousands of people won to Christ.
In 1980, after his own miraculous healing from double pneumonia, Bill began to experience dramatic manifestations of the Holy Spirit after Circus Alleluia’s performances. During these times thousands of miracles took place as he and members of his troupe prayed for people to be healed and delivered from Satan’s hold, some of whom led hundreds to Christ sharing their miraculous testimonies. Then in late 1988 the Lord led the Greenman’s to end Circus Alleluia Ministries.
In spring 1989 Bill and Meg were introduced to the brethren at Kansas City Fellowship in Kansas City (now known as Forerunner Church, and the International House of Prayer), led by Mike Bickle, and moved there in spring 1990. Soon after arriving Bill was asked to join MCF’s staff as an associate pastor. Bill functioned primarily as a counselor during the next two and a half years, with an emphasis on personal deliverance ministry. This was also a time when Bill’s prophetic gifting took a profound step forward and has since become a major facet of his ministry.
In summer 1992 the Greenman’s and the leaders of KCF felt the Lord directing Bill to resign his pastoral position and to enter the corporate business world. That year Bill helped a friend with the beginnings of a manufacturing/retail company, which boasted two million dollars in sales within that 12 months. In 1994 the Greenman’s moved to Dallas, Texas where Bill spent a year and a half as Director of Promotions for a nutritional company. He also began leading recruiting/training meetings across the USA and helped build a sales force of over 40,000 world wide that helped take the company to over $150 million in sales.
In summer 1996 the Lord instructed Bill to revise his book, “How To Find Your Purpose In Life,” published in 1987, retitling it, “Purpose – Destiny – Achievement” That book became the springboard of the broader vision to take these principles of finding and fulfilling our specific God-ordained purpose into every continent by using all media for all age groups.
In December 1997 the Greenman’s moved back to Kansas City to begin Purpose International Ministries (PIM). PIM’s growth has included opening a ministry office in Kenya, Africa and the production of several new training materials and courses. Such courses are a 6 Module, 24 week curriculum complete with in-class and homework assignments, tests, and a Teachers Manual and a Bible University Level course with Student Syllabus and Instructors Manual. These courses are designed to take students, youth groups, and individuals, from A-Z in their pursuit of their purpose and be able to live their destinies in God and possibly as leaders of the nations as they grow into adulthood.
Bill’s time is now divided between his various businesses ventures and the growth of PIM. Bill and His wife Meg, live in the Kansas City, KS area. They have three grown children and 6 growing grandchild.
